Subject	EPROM Socket Recommendations

Message	Planning to get my car tuned and want to save a few by re-socketing the ecu myself so that all that is needed is to replace the EPROM chip when that time comes. Anyway, does the type of socket matter? If so, any recommendations? Did some research and some say to stay away from RadioShack since their cheap and more intended for breadboards. Heard mixed reviews for ZIFs. TIA
